Worthly / Cookies and storage
Cookies and storage
No tracking. No banner.
This page lists everything Worthly keeps in your browser. It is a short list.
Version 1.0 — 17 October 2026
Worthly sets no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies and no third-party cookies. Everything it stores in your browser is either strictly necessary to run the app or a preference you chose. Under the GDPR and the ePrivacy rules, storage like that needs no consent, so Worthly does not show a consent banner. There is nothing to accept or decline, because there is nothing optional being collected.
What is stored
Worthly keeps these items in your browser’s local storage (localStorage):
- Sign-in tokens. An access token and a refresh token that last 30 days. They keep you signed in. Strictly necessary. Removed when you sign out.
- Theme and language. Your choice of light or dark, and your language. A preference you set.
- Layout preferences. For example the order of your accounts and dashboard sections, the motion setting, and your recent ticker searches. A preference you set.
- Offline copy of your own data. So the app keeps working without a connection. It stays on your device and is cleared when you sign out. Strictly necessary for offline use.
Technically this is browser storage rather than cookies. The same rules apply to both, and the answer is the same.
What is not used
- No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no TikTok pixel.
- No advertising or tracking network of any kind, and no ads in the product, ever.
- No third-party cookies.
Analytics. Worthly counts visits with Umami, self-hosted on Worthly’s own server. It sets no cookies, does not follow you across other sites, and the data never leaves Worthly’s infrastructure.
Fonts. The public website serves its typefaces from Worthly’s own server. Fonts are not requested from any third party, so no third party sees your IP address when a page is loaded. More in the Privacy Policy.
How to clear it
- Sign out. This removes your sign-in tokens and the offline copy of your data from the device.
- Clear site data. In your browser’s settings, open the privacy or site-data section, find
worthly.euand remove its data. This also resets theme, language and layout preferences, and signs you out.
Clearing it has no adverse effect. You simply sign in again and set your preferences again.
